Our design team has been hard at work on our Valentine's Day window display.
They are using our in house laser cutters for this project and also using our own papers available at our store or at our website.
The concept for our display are the butterflies flying from the heart to New York City; on the left side of our window the heart is full of butterflies and the right side consists the butterflies flying towards Manhattan.
To bring the butterflies to life our design team placed the butterflies in different colors (Matt- Pink Feather,Metallic - Blush, Metallic - Argento, Metallic - Nude,Plike - Grey )
onto our Mirri- Mirror Gold paper.
By adding the gold mirror paper it added dimension to our project because the reflection of the butterflies's wings looked as if they were truly flying.
We will be selling all the butterflies at our store, available in 6 colors and two designs of butterflies.

We first started by selecting a neutral colors for our display instead of the typical Valentine's Day color palette.
After deciding on the colors our Design team worked with our Laser Cut team to begin cutting the butterflies.
The butterflies were cut into 2 different designs in 6 different colors each.
The back of the butterflies were glued with the gold mirror butterflies to give depth to each one of them.
Later a hole puncher was used to make a small hole on each butterfly so they could be hanged at the window.
Soon after all of them were hole punched a clear string was used with each of them having a different length so it could look like as if they were truly flying.
After the butterflies were each tied with a clear string, our design team begin to start working on the heart as well as the shape of the New York map.
They used our Foam Boards (available at our store) to create the heart and map, each of them were made up of two foam boards glued together and later hand cut using our sharp x-acto knife(Available at our store).
After being hand cut a layer of papers in six different colors were glued to both sides on the heart while the map was spray painted with a smooth black finish.
For the corners of the heart, a beige ribbon was glued all around it.
With everything the last process was to hang the butterflies, heart and map using clear string.
